Introduction to Zentangle
Shattuck
This workshop will provide students with a background in the history of Zentangle, introduce them to the basic steps of the method and expose them to associated vocabulary and tools used. Students will be immersed in creating actual Zentangle tiles and will leave with a clear understanding that, “Anything is possible one stroke at a time.”®
2 hour class (one time) – $35 – Basic kit and all materials included

Zentangle: Beyond the Basics

Pre-requisite: Intro to Zentangle or Zentangle for Beginners
This workshop will build on the foundations laid in the Introductory or Basics course. We continue working with black ink on white tiles with the introduction to more complex patterns of the Zentangle® method as well as tangles created by the Zentangle community.
2 hour class (one time) – $35 – bring your basics kit, new class materials included

Zentangle: Renaissance Tiles
Narwal, BTL JOOS, Springkle
Pre-requisite: Intro to Zentangle or Zentangle for Beginners
This workshop will build on the foundations laid in the Introductory or Basics course by working with tan renaissance tiles. We will use black, white, and brown inks to add variety to our tangles, and utilize both highlights and shading to make those patterns pop!
2 hour class (one time) – $40 – bring your basics kit, new class materials included.

Zentangle: Black Tiles

Pre-requisite: Intro to Zentangle or Zentangle for Beginners
This workshop will build on the foundations laid in the Introductory or Basics course by working with black tiles. We will use  white inks to draw our tangles ‘in reverse’, and use highlights instead of shading to make bring life to your tiles!
2 hour class (one time) – $40 – bring your basics kit, new class materials included.

Zendalas

Pre-requisite: Intro to Zentangle or Zentangle for Beginners
In this workshop, participants will create a mandala using patterns drawn in the Zentangle method – often called a Zendala. This workshop may be run using white, black, or tan tiles as noted by the workshop date below.
3 hour workshop – $50 – bring your basics kit, new class materials included.
Offered on the following dates:

Zentangle for Beginners
Shattuck
This 7 week course will provide students with a background in the history of Zentangle, introduce them to the basic steps of the method and expose them to associated vocabulary and tools used. Students will be immersed in creating actual Zentangle tiles and will leave with a clear understanding that, “Anything is possible one stroke at a time.”® Each week will introduce new tangles and concepts for your Zentangle practice.
1.5 hour class (7 weeks) – $82 – All materials included.

Holiday Craft Workshops 

Tangled Star Boxes 

In the first half of this workshop, learn several patterns that are perfect for creating stars of all shapes and sizes. We’ll also cover some border tangles that are great for detailing edges. In the 2nd half, we’ll use those patterns on star shaped boxes or ornaments to get a jump start on the holidays. Studio supplies will be used during the class, but students are welcome to bring their basics kit. Additional supplies used in class will be available for purchase if desired.
