Introduction to Zentangle
Shattuck
This workshop will provide students with a background in the history of Zentangle, introduce them to the basic steps of the method and expose them to associated vocabulary and tools used. Students will be immersed in creating actual Zentangle tiles and will leave with a clear understanding that, “Anything is possible one stroke at a time.”®
2 hour class (one time) – $30 – Basic kit and all materials included

Friday, March 1, 6:30-8:30pm
Saturday, April 6, 10am-Noon
Tuesday, April 9, 6-8pm at the Limerick Township Building
Friday, May 3, 6:30-8:30pm


Zendalas

Pre-requisite: Intro to Zentangle or Zentangling experience
In this workshop, participants will create a mandala using patterns drawn in the Zentangle method – often called a Zendala. This workshop may be run using white, black, or tan tiles as noted by the workshop date below.
3 hour workshop – $45 – bring your basics kit, new class materials included.
Offered on the following dates:
Saturday, February 9, 10am-1pm, mandalas on pre-strung white tiles
Sunday, March 17, 12-3pm, mandalas on tan tiles with green accents
Saturday, April 6, 1-4pm, spring floral mandalas on white tiles


Found Poetry and Zentangle

Found poetry is a uniquely personal expression. Finding your own words hidden within those already on a page is a special kind of satisfying. This class combines the personal experience of found poetry with the practice of the Zentangle method of meditative drawing. No drawing or writing experience is necessary, Alecia Miller will guide you through the entire process in a supportive, relaxed environment. Participants are invited to share their poetry at the end of class, or the following week at the Creative Light Factory open studio session.
