Our faerie circle has grown so big this year it is no longer a circle. The first year it grew, the circle of mushrooms was about a foot wide, every year getting a bit larger. This year the garden and the walkway impede the full circle from forming, but it still feels magical!
Love the transformation as these guys grow. 🍄

My current read, fascinating stuff.
Favorite take away so far is the power of small wins. Duhigg talks of the struggle of the early gay rights movement and when in the early 70’s the American Library Association convinced the Library of Congress to reclassify books about gay liberation out of “abnormal sexual relations, including sex crimes” and into a new category on “homosexuality, lesbianism, homophile movement”. This small win paved the way to have discriminatory laws removed and for homosexuality to no longer be classified as a mental illness.
And of course, we must thank the librarians - always on the frontlines for freedom!
