Rose Garden is a piece from my Childhood Memories series. This mandala series are mixed media which include acrylic, graphite, colored pencil, and ink on birch panels. These 5″x5″ panels have the side painted so they are ready to hang without additional framing.

Rose Garden was inspired by my mother’s bed of roses in our garden. It was a gorgeous ring of color and provided us with the entertainment of capturing the marauding Japanese beetles.
