Whole lotta prepping going on…
Its been a busy week, with more to come.
I am in the process of finalizing my paperwork for my new studio over at the Coleman’s Artist Studios in Phoenixville, PA. This is very exciting stuff, but a lot of work to come to get the studio set up and running. Keep an eye out for classes to be scheduled there, as well as details on the open studio that all the artists onsite are hosting on November 21st.
Did a quick tile for Its A String Thing #114 last week (but not in time to send it in to Adele). I went Renaissance on this one and used a sienna colored pencil for shading instead of regular graphite. Really pleased with the affect.
And I have been busy working on water color backgrounds for my next series of work. Here’s a sneak of some of them in my current work space – the kitchen table. I can’t wait until I can share new work in progress with you from the studio!
Last, but not least, for today. This week my Zentangle for Beginners had their card making class. We learned the brand new release from Zentangle HQ – Gourdgeous. We did a few rounds on apprentice tiles before beginning the final tile for the card, as gourdgeous can be a bit tricky to get a handle on. Overall the class did great, and we have a little happy mascot from one of the students! 🙂

Enjoyed every moment in class. Glad you liked my humor w/the new mascot. My pen has been busy! See you soon at your new studio.
